MILSIG 20/19 Round Hybrid Magazine

Regular price $39.99 $0.00

MILSIG's new Hybrid Magazine boasts a laundry list of revisions to the most battle-tested magazine in paintball history. The new Hybrid Magazine is exactly as it says, it is purpose-built to fire both .68 caliber paintballs, as well as FirstStrike rounds.

The first and most notable change is the new head design that encompasses a new rear detent. This detent is designed to pull far enough back to completely clear the round, in the case of flashing or inconsistent fins on FirstStrike rounds. By moving the detent to the rear, we've also eliminated the chance of FirstStrike nipples catching at the front of the magazine. The addition of an enlarged channel at the front of the head additionally eliminates risks of jamming of unevenly sized FirstStrike rounds.

Great for the M17

I had no issues with feeding. Have not shot FSR yet but I am sure it'll work as needed.

Nothing new for the M17

I purchased these mags in order to try and solve the FSR feeding issue with the original square head mags. What they don’t mention in the description of the product is that only the hybrid heads for the M5 are actually different. The hybrid mags for the M17 are just the the new mag bodies on with the old square head collars. Unfortunately this will not solves the feeding issues for FSR. So if you, like me, decided to purchase these as an improvement save your money

Best Mags on the Market?

So far, I have put nearly two full cases of round balls through these across 9 magazines. Including Frost Bite, premium field, and pretty much what ever I had laying around for months. Not a single issue, miss feed, or broken ball yet. Additionally took a handful of 'rejected' first strike rounds at the last event and fired them down range, fed every last flashy, malformed projectile.

They fit inside my 3rd party M4/AK mag pouches snugly, although are not compatible with the MilSig Mag clip (currently).
